ABORTION AND CONTRACEPTION CLINIC OF NEBRASKA
This clinic is located in Germantown, Maryland in
the DC Metro area. This NAF member clinic
provides late-term abortions through Dr. Carhart
and is the site of constant, organized harassment
from local churches as well as anti-abortion groups
like Operation Rescue. In addition to crowding the
driveway to stop women from entering, they also use large,
graphic pictures of supposed aborted fetuses. Recently, some of the anti-choice protestors have acquired business space directly across from the clinic to be able to harass the patients and staff
as they walk in from about three feet away. They use this space as a Crisis Pregnancy Center in hopes of luring women in on their way to the abortion clinic. The anti-choice community in this area
is very organized and have planned multiple mass protests outside of the clinic such as Summer of Mercy 2.0 and 40 Days for Life. Stop these bigots from shaming women and pledge today!
This clinic is located in Bellevue, NE and has been providing patients with abortion and contraceptive care since Carhart opened it in 1992. This NAF member clinic is no stranger to harassment; there are always people outside with graphic signs and “ informational” pamphlets. A large truck donning graphic and bloody signs known as the “Truth Truck” will make an appearance as well. This clinic and town has a dark history of stalking, harassment and violence when it comes to the Carharts and their Nebraska clinic. In 1991, their farm was burned to the ground, destroying the house and barn, and killing 17 horses and several family pets. Anti-abortion activists glued locks in the clinic doors, land left pig manure at the entrance. Although we are fortunate to say that the overt violence has stopped, but the harassment, intimidation and violent rhetoric remains. Help the patients of this clinic today!
